Job Description

We are seeking a driven and accomplished executive to lead our Strategy group. Reporting to Camille Tyan, our Deputy CEO, the role will be to drive our strategic planning as we scale the company. This role requires critical thinking, a deep understanding of fintech markets, strategic planning, and exceptional leadership abilities.

Main Tasks

  • Team management: lead and manage the Strategy team (3 to 4 people by the end of 2025), providing clear guidance, mentorship, and ongoing coaching to support their growth and performance.

  • Strategic planning: develop strategic plans and initiatives, leveraging insights from analysis of operations, and business metrics to guide decisions about products, markets, and segments.

  • Business alignment: lead quarterly business reviews and OKR alignment, ensuring the entire organization is progressing towards strategic goals and objectives.

  • Operational excellence: Oversee operational performance, initiating process and improvements to promote efficiency and quality across all functions.

  • Cross-functional projects: Manage key strategic projects and cross-functional teams, fostering alignment and cooperation to meet shared objectives efficiently and effectively.

  • Market priorities: define and prioritize opportunities to expand our offerings, and align features with user needs to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage in the market.

  • Growth & Market expansion: identify opportunities for expansion in the embedded finance market, incubating initiatives to investigate and launch new products, businesses, segments, or regions.

  • Organizational design: design and implement organizational structures that facilitate scalability and efficiency as the company enters new markets and launches innovative fintech products.

Preferred Experience

You’re a great match if:

  • Strong experience as a Head of or VP in strategic planning, product management within the fintech sector.

  • You possess strong management and leadership skills.

  • You are not afraid to build a department almost from scratch

  • You are hands-on, adaptable, and proactive, with a bias for action.

  • You are a strategic thinker with excellent business acumen.

  • You have a proven track record in managing strategic, cross-functional projects, and can juggle multiple priorities efficiently.

  • You excel at analyzing complex business data, metrics, and market trends within the fintech space.

  • You’re an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and you know how to influence and negotiate effectively.
