About the role

We are seeking an experienced People Development & Operations Manager based in Paris to support Trustpair's international expansion. The ideal candidate excels in HR operations and development, with a passion for continuously improving processes and initiatives while managing daily operations.

Reporting to our VP People, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of responsibilities across European and US operations, collaborating closely with teams and managers throughout the organization.

With the support of an apprentice, you will manage HR operations and projects for all employees across all contract types and geographical locations.


What you'll do:

People Development & Employee Experience

  • Strategic Planning & Analysis
    • Alongside our VP People, contribute to the construction of our annual people roadmap development through employee feedback collection, post-mortems, external benchmarks, etc
    • Design and conduct employee experience surveys
  • Learning & Development
    • Create and oversee career development programs
    • Build and nurture the Manager's community
    • Design comprehensive training plans
  • Culture & Engagement
    • Serve as HR business partner for managers and employees
    • Orchestrate company-wide events (all-hands, team buildings)
    • Organize social activities (sports challenges, monthly gatherings)


HR Operations & Administration

  • Process Excellence
    • Optimize and manage end-to-end employee lifecycle (onboarding, probation, performance, offboarding)
    • Drive HR digitalization projects (tools implementation, process automation)
    • Document and maintain HR processes, ensuring clear communication to all stakeholders
  • Payroll Management
    • Oversee multi-country payroll processing
    • Ensure accurate and timely salary payments
  • Systems & Data
    • Manage HR platforms (Hibob, Payfit)
    • Maintain data integrity for reporting purposes
    • Handle HR documentation and compliance requirements


Workplace Management

  • Infrastructure & Equipment
    • Partner with IT/Ops for employee equipment management
    • Maintain IT security compliance hand in hand with security & operations teams
    • Oversee office space optimization
  • Vendor Management
    • Coordinate office supplies and equipment procurement
    • Oversee facilities maintenance and improvements


Management our People Ops Apprentice

  • Task Management
    • Delegate and oversee daily operational tasks
    • Review work quality and ensure accuracy
  • Training & Development
    • Set clear objectives and KPIs
    • Create and implement training plan for the apprentice
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching

        Must-Haves:

        • Masters degree in General Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field
        • 5+ years experience in similar position (People Operations & Development)
        • Previous experience in a startup/scaleup environment
        • Exposition to international environment; experience with US teams is a strong advantage
        • Strong knowledge of HR processes including, payroll administration in France
        • Strong flexibility and versatility
        • Excellent communication skills in English and good communication skills in French
        • Analytical capacities; appetite for AI is a plus
